Facebook Status to Twitter

Originally, I used to be able to have my Facebook status updates automatically send themselves to Twitter, Friendfeed, and a few other sites by having a second Facebook account be friends with my primary account (and no others), then adjust the notification url to "status.php", and voila. Now, it appears as though that's defunct, and it says the url is no longer active.

Is there any way to automatically send your status updates to another site that doesn't require you to work backwards? For example, I know that there are ways to send Friendfeed status updates to Facebook, and you can send your tweets to Facebook, but I just can't seem to find anything that lets you post a status on Facebook and then it sends itself outward.

Any help would be appreciated!

Where exactly are you trying to share your statuses or posts? If you want your Twitter/Friend Feed/Etc. posts to be posted as Facebook statuses/links, there are applications you can use and configure to be found in the [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.].

As for sharing Facebook statuses outside of Facebook, you'd have to look into that site's settings or see if it has the Facebook Connect feature that can access your posts and re-post them elsewhere.

There aren't any apps that automatically send Facebook statuses to Friend Feed and Twitter without having to use the app itself and post each status update through that. For instance, you can use the Twitter app to post something on Facebook which also goes to Twitter, but that means I can't just use a normal status update and have that send itself, and if I were to go through the effort of always going through Twitter to send things that way, why not just copy/paste?

I'm trying to get it so I can type out a normal status update, the normal way, and have it send to Twitter, Friend Feed, and other services. As far as I know, no apps do this - they primarily just send other things to Facebook, which I don't need.
