New FB homepage, news feed!

How do i stop friends looking at what i have posted via the new black lettered constantly moving box on the right top left of the homepage! I don't want to see other peoples posts & i don't want them to see mine, unless they look!

Can you tell me how to? I heard if all my friends & i, hover over all our names, click on subscribed & uncheck 'comments & likes' this will work.

Can you tell me what i need to change to stop all my friends seeing what i do, apart from the person of who's comment i'm commenting on, or someone i'm posting on their page!

go to your privacy settings - then custom! Then hide the people you want!

No, what i mean is, is that i want whatever i post on the news feed, or on other peoples profile, to not appear on the top right black news feed that seems to show everyones posts.

I have no clue what ur saying, maybe someone else can help you out.
