Hiding my news feed. Empty Hiding my news feed.

Hi! I would be very happy if someone could help me with this problem I'm having: I want to hide my news feed, I don't want my friends to receive any notification about changes on my profile. I am aware that the new "restricted" option does that, but it also hides the wall and a lot of other things, and I just don't want people to see the news anymore. How can I do it? One of my friends has it, and when I try to see his news it appears like there is nothing new, even if he changes something. Thank you very much for the help!
