I am having the same problem as many others in this thread. I can not login to FB from any of my home computers (2 laptops and 1 desktop, but I have access from my iPhone. I already use OpenDNS, I've cleared my cache, and I've tried the many other tips from this thread. Is this a FB issue or something on my end? Any help will be appreciated.

Can you pleae just clarify;

What is the message you get on all the machines that will not let you access Facebook?

Is your iPhone on a completley different system to the computers for web connection ?

Do you manage to completey log in and navigate around the Facebook site on the phone?

I'm am 1st getting a message saying my password and username do not match. I can not reset my password.

My iPhone is using my WiFi connection, so I guess it the same web connection/system.

No, I have been logged in on my iPhone and have not had to re-loin.

No one else has access to the computers I use. The 2 laptops are used daily, the desktop has not been turned on in a while. I use Avast for protection on the computers. It updates daily and the last scan was Friday after this issue started.

What other protection programs do you have on there and when were they all last updated ? (why do I ask this ?It is useful to hopefully eliminate a computer infection as a potential cause of the log in problem )

Are all the computers up- to -date with their Security Patches?

Another thought; have you checked for 'CAPS ON' lock on or a sticky key on the keyboard???

Okay, I'm still frustrated by this problem. Here's what I know:

- I can not login to FB from any computer. I have tried to login from my home, office, a friends house, and the library. (I've doubled checked the caps and spelling).

-I have access to my account through my iPhone and there does not seem to be any problems with the account.

- I am receiving emails from FB at the email address for the account, but when I try to reset the email I get the message that the email address is invalid.

Don't know what to try next. I've also send emails to FB support, but no response.

Are there any other suggestions?

I have been doing some research to see if the one method of accessing Facebook can somehow 'invalidate' the other----so far I have drawn a blank...

I'm using Verizon Fios for Internet.

I have not logged off the Facebook app since this problem has come up, but I had the Facebook account long before the iPhone. And they (the computers and iphone) have worked fine together for months.

so you have not yet tried to see if the iPhone will still log you in ?

and you started Facebook on the iPhone after the computers had been running it?

I am just wondering if, somehow the iPhone connection has thrown you off facebook on the computers ( how I do not yet know --maybe a facebook expert might know )
