Live feed also not updating

I have the similar problem. To update I usually click on reload. Now when I click on reload it doesn't properly load. It doesn't show old post nor edit options on the bottom. When I click Home it does the same thing. The only way to make it full load I go to profile then click home, but I have to do so many time. I hit reload again to check and still a problem. Now I have to open to different FB tabs. Also, when hitting reload and the Home the notifications and messages red flag doesn't show up. When I click on reload on the other tab (different tab profile) the notifications and messages red flag shows. I'm using Firefox 2. I have no problems with IE6 at all. No problems with other website with Firefox 2. I believe there is a bug Facebook and firefox 2. Who should I report this to or who will help and when will it be fix? This problem started day before yesterday.

Can't do that. I have win98.

I guess Facebook uses scripts that Firefox 2 cannot handle. Because your operating system and browser is outdated Facebook may not provide support for it. Since IE 6 works fine I suggest just using that instead.

Is there some kind of script I can download so Firefox 2 can handle FB script?

If IE6 is working on it, why not continue to use that ? ( ps IE7 and 8 are not compatible with Win 98 nor win 98SE)


I have a web site that is not compatible witn IE6 so I open my Netscaspe instead for that .....
Which Firefox browser do you use with Win 98 ( is it the SE version ?)

I also have Netscape 7.2

Unfortunately 'the -powers- that- be in the Computing World ' seem to think that these older versions of Windows should be now in the trash can .............

The fix is available in the form of an upgrade, not a script. Because the problem has likely already been fixed in later versions of Firefox it is highly unlikely that a script / patch for Firefox 2 would be available.
