Wall post: Attached link html anchor gets changed when posted to wall article

I post links with html anchors on my wall to link to news article on my website. In the last month or so, the html anchors have been changed to a previously posted link anchor when the post is made to the wall.
I.E. the attched news link will change from:

http:[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]#Jul14

To

http:[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]#Jul10

when I make the post to the wall. I don't know why this is happening, but it's very annoying since the links are pointing to an older article instead of the newer one.

I am using Firefox 3.6.6 - I tried using IE 8 and it's worst - IE 8 drops the html anchor (#Jul14) completely.
