Is this woman/profile a scam? Help me, please.
I have a friend on my list, she added me recently (i don't know her, but she was suggested by someone else). She claims to be the Head of recruitment for BMA Models, but when I called to confirm they said that it is a scam. She is connected to another girl and they both try to convince women to shave their hair. What kind of scam is this? Does anyone know anything about this? Am I allowed to post their profile address in here? Her name is Kate Jones, she has a picture of a really good looking brunette woman in a white shirt sitting at a desk. Can someone check her profile to tell me? I am a bit afraid, because they have all my details.

Who are "they"?She claims to be the Head of recruitment for BMA Models, but when I called to confirm they said that it is a scam.
A screenshot/paste of that message would help. The link to her profile could be useful too, but since we're an unofficial forum, we have no more power on Facebook than you do.

I called the BMA Model Agency and they said that this woman, Kate Jones does not work for them and that she is a scam. I did some research on my own now and found out, that the woman in the picture is actually a porn actress who goes under the name of Kate Jones or Kate Johnes.(https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100001908124609)
This woman has only young girls in her profile, which makes me very suspicious and I think that the person behind this profile might actually be a man who used that actress' photo. I reported it to facebook but they haven't reacted. But I think that this might be dangerous. But my question has been asnwered already, I am sure it is some kind of perverted scam.

That's definitely a fake profile, and I agree it looks to be under some pervert's ownership. Unlike many other people, you did right when you called an official company to verify its legitimacy.
You may report the profile as well. Click the Report/Block This Person link on the left bottom side of "her" profile.

If I were you, I'd remove her (or him) as a friend, because he/she has all your info and can do anything with it.

Might ask why the 'someone else' (presumably who knows you ?) suggested you agree to add her to your Friends list?
This in a way is a good example of why not to add anyone who asks to to be a Friend;also wonder who said what to Facebook about how you are supposed to 'know' each other in real life!!
Why did you give your details to a person you do not know???because they have all my details.
As suggested above, you did report this individual to Facebook didn't you ?

That someone turned out to be the same person as Kate Jones, just under another name. I added her because she was interested in a campaign I had up. And it got really ugly. But both now reported (takes long for facebook to react obviously) and deleted from my friend's list.
Thanks for your help and input.

If you think about it, what company really snipes people out on Facebook who they don't know? Obviously, it is a fake person. Over the last couple of years Facebook has become spammed to the limit. Facebook has taken measures to try limiting the amount of friends you request per day but also allow you to add people you know.
Facebook can easily stop the spam but many people do add a lot of people they really know every day. Especially people who have just recently signed up on Facebook. Anything advertised to you directly from another person on Facebook is most likely BS. Do your research, don't fall for any tricks.
