FRIENDS INVITATION

Hi all,

I received an invitation from someone I knew a long time ago.

My question is this - Is there any way the invitation could have come from anywhere other than that persons account directly - ie woiuld they have had to find me and then send an invite or os there a way that facebook or some other network site could have generated the request without that person knowing? - short of someone hacking their account that is....

Strikes me as very odd!!

But the question maybe has to be asked...is that persons account Hacked?

Have you been in Facebook or other contact with that person recently ?

I have had no contact with this person. They live in Canada and we have no mutual friends. They claim to have received an invite from me and just clicked on the invite without paying attention.

Have you checked your computer for infections to make sure you are not sending out invites and spamming people?
