New Facebook layout

Hi all, there is a new facebook layout, what do you guys think?

I am not liking it at all.

especially no items on the bottom of the page, so instead of quick click you have to go home, in which that button has also moved , then scroll down on the left to select where you want to go as in games and repeat the process every time you wish to change what game you go to.

as for friends feeds, i dont particularly want to have to select whos feed i want to see and whos i dont. i added them as my friend so i could see their feeds and keep up with their goings on. if not i wouldnt of added them.

Why are people so afraid of change...live a little!

It is terrible have to open new window for requests ,keep going back home page to change app .Don't like it when you add a friend then theres friends come up to you for suggestions ..
I think it would of been nice to let us now they are trying some things out first instead of just doing it ...

Judging by the comments from the members on this forum alone the change is not being very well received....

as to them giving Facebook users prior warning of impending change....

I guess they could have put a note on the log- in page to warn Facebookers

Problem is, if you are used to one particular layout then land on another ....you could be forgiven for thinking you had a browser hijacker infection on your computer .........

I hate it. I am upset that I can not filter my feeds anymore. I used to be able to make just my farmville feeds come up so I could attend to that business and then my mafia feeds so I could attend to that and then just my family. Now I have to scroll through every bit of useless crap just to find a bonus on that was posted by my farmville friends. please change it back.

I'm between liking and disliking it.

Possitive points

• The inbox opens like a drop-down, solving the inbox issues when it stays blank
  
• More complete

Negative Points

• Too much stuff in the homepage, which makes it confussing
  
• Many stuff were changed from place, which also makes it confussing

But I'm sure I'll get used to it

I'm not seeing the new layout in my account...will it happen soon?

I hate that the apps bar is now defunct, now I have to return to my home page to get to another app, very annoying and time consuming, and according to facebook this is supposed to make things easier for us. hahaha

Huh??

What new layout, where, how do i get it ??

I hate it I'm fine with the current layout. They are always changing the layout.

IMO, change is great on certain occasions, but I think the constant barage of changes to software and applications is rediculously unnecessary. Easier access to application and a few fixes are necessary, but not a whole overhall is necessary. Just when I thought I was mastering a program, those knuckle heads go and change it. What makes them think we have time to waste relearning something we liked very much, something there was nothing wrong with to begin with. NO CHANGE! Not a good idea.

I really don't think it will bring more social networkers, but may very well cause a number of users to leave, especially brand new members who just learned it as well as many of the older folks who find it difficult to just sign up. Simplicity is the winner. Facebook is simple. Fix a few things, but leave it alone.

If they fix it completely will live a little. When a new facebook is out they should have it done completely instead of have it out. Its like a beta facebook. Why should we have that. We should have a complete fix facebook.

I think it seems a bit more organized than the last version, I kind of like have the notifications up at the top again.

Well what about friends group list? You can't view the entire friends group list.

The one thing I reallly enjoyed was being able to get my bounes from my farmvile friends, under the drop down and now it just takes me to farmville!!! Thats how I adoppted lost animals and get bounes and, perfect bunches!!! THIS LAYOUT SUCK!!!!

In my opinion, the apps feeds were pretty useful, so it was a bad thing to remove them.

ive noticed that old accounts don't get changed to the new layout because i have 5 facebook accounts for testing and apps and groups and none of them have them but my brother has made a new account and he has the new layout and i personaly don't like it.

I like the new look, I don't like that statuses from my freinds may show up in news feed or may not, they are there one minute go play game come back statuses are gone and page is over a hour old again. I have to constantly click top news and most recent to try and find all Statuses even then I miss some, it is really driving me crazy.
