ok so theres so much stuff on facebook now about being able to see whos viewed your profile and the general response ive got from this is that you cant, and these applications are just scams.

My question is - if someone has started an event for a group , and i visit the page - is the person who created the group able to see that ive visited it at any point? And i am not a member of the group.

Nope. The admins have no way of knowing if you don't join. If you do join, then can find out information from you like your country.
