LINKS IN A GROUP? Empty LINKS IN A GROUP?

Post by Shrek Sat Dec 11, 2010 7:02 am

I run a closed group with a few thousand members. The question is three fold.

1. Can i allow any link to a money making site by a member?

2. The scrolling system is just creating subject posts dissapear so by the time members get on facebook it's gone? Can't i set up like a Forum format where the posts are stickies that can be seen. Like a Forum type page.

3. I read somewhere that once members of a group go over 2,000 then facebook take a roll but did not quite grasp in what that meant?

Thanks

1. Facebook's policy says nothing about money making links, so I guess it's allowed.
2. What scrolling system? Are you talking about the Facebook Comments Widget?
3.
facebook take a roll

What do you mean? Confused

I was thinking of setting a group up with the same type format as this. Can this be done?

What do Facebook Groups have to do with this forum's software anyways?

You can, however, [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] and go to Edit Page >> Applications >> Discussion Boards >> Go to Application >> Add Discussion Boards. This way, your members will be able to create topics they can reply to (just like a forum).

This can't be done with new Groups, though. Only on Groups that have the old layout and Facebook Pages.
