Finally a response from facebook!

My name is Carissa,
The other day I signed onto my facebook, and it said it was disabled by an admin. The reason why i signed on was because my friends texted me thinking i deleted or blocked them from my account. So after finding i was disabled, i checked my email.

I had gotten a warning email earlier that morning at 4:53am & then the disabling email at 11:25am that same morning.

The warning read that i had an innappropriate photo, and the picture that i can think of was wrong contained nudity. The truth is, it was one of those funny photos you get from a forward on your cell phone, and thats what i put up. Not a good idea.. not at all. It was stupidity on my part. Now i have no idea what to do, I was sleeping when i got those 2 emails, if i could have prevented it was happening, i would have deleted the photo as soon as i got the warning, but obviously i had no time. and i was sleeping! If i could apologize, I would and i have in emails, but idk if they went over them bc i know for sure i wont be posting something like that ever again. & i advise everyone else not to either! Bc this could happen to you.

this may sound pathetic, but i almost cried. im still upset. that facebook has my life on it. I had about 700+ friends, so many college contacts, over 2,000 irreplacable photos that arnt on my laptop anymore. i have no idea what to do! Ive had this account since my beginning of senior year in highschool, which has been little over a year now.

I also read a blog that a guy posted up bad pics and he got his account back after emailing for about 2 days, i can only hope for the same.

I emailed over 20 different emails, [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.], the list goes on. Ive emailed from other emails, and gotten responses back saying i need to use the email associated with my facebook. I did that and I did not get an answer from that email with

Its only been 3 days, I understand they may be busy, but i need reassurance!! I got an email saying they got my inquiry and theyll get back to me, but how long does that take! Ive heard of people getting their account back after 2 months, and others a few days! i dont have the time to waste! this is the first time anything like this happened to me. never been disabled before, so im hoping ill get a chance to get it undisabled.

I need suggestions, someone help?

Sorry but the 'best response' is..you will just have to wait until Facebook decide to unblock you if they do at all

They have their own Policies and T&C and you seem to have violated them

I suggest you do not badger them with emails as they may then treat you as a spammer and completley ban you from Facebook

good idea, i should probably quit emailing as much, bc im so impatient thats all i was doing.

With Facebook you have to have a lot of patience...a lot!!

We know your Account may be returned to you in maybe a week or so..if you are lucky

I will move this thread to the Solved Section as it is up to Facebook to let you back in or not

my account has been disabled by an admin since february 22. ive sent sooo many emails, and read so many blogs and posts about being disabled, and sometimes it took people up to two months getting their account back.

i only got one response telling me they recieved my inquiry, nothing after that. are they going to respond to me? ever? do they have some type of list of answering emails in order or something, because i havent got any answers yet!

I JUST NEED TO KNOW IF ILL EVER GET MY ACCOUNT BACK! ); it has my life on it! this really sucks! has anyone EVER been through this and got their account back?????????????????

I am sorry but I think the best response still is

you have to wait for Facebook to let you back in, if they wish to ..

but if you wish to get into Facebook you, I suggest, may wish to create what is called a 'dummy account ' with an email address not as yet known to Facebook

That way you can get back into Facebook but you will need to be very careful of what you post on Facebook lest you get banned for 'inappropriate content'....

i dont wanna give up, but its been so long idk what to do! ive heard of ppl getting accounts back after 2 months of waiting, but what if its longer than 2 months!? im just gonna lose all hope..

It is assumed you are not trying to log into Facebook at all to allow the account to 'rest' ....

or are you ?

when i mean they get their accounts back after 2 months, i mean ive read that they got responses from the facebook team undisabling them after so long.

but i have tried a few times to sign in every once in a while to check if i can get back on.

but hopefully it is like that, not signing in for a while and it automatically letting me back on. is that what you meant? bc if its like that, ill be so happy

From my dealing with folks who pass through this Section of this Board you will need to stay away from Facebook completley for , maybe two weeks if not longer; do not try to log in but give it a 'holiday';

the longer you can leave it the better so its gets 'rested'

Try leaving if for maybe three weeks then try. ..just once, to log in using a computer and location you normally use for Facebook

You never know..you may get back in!!!

Make sure you too do check your emails to see if Facebook has communicated with you ...

i hope this is true, bc i surely can leave it alone for 3 weeks, i just hope ill get it back someday!

you never know how much something like this means until you cant use it anymore, and it sounds ridiculous but its true!

My facebook was disabled once. I just emailed them and apologized if I did anything wrong and would do anything to correct the mistake. They reinstated my account. Email them at [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

I do hope you are not still trying to log into Facebook are you ? Or that you are sending more emails to Facebook ?

You need to leave Facebook completely alone, do not try to even log in while this is on-going!!

i havent signed in yet! i signed in on my other account that i made maybe 3 or 4 times, but i did send an email.. /= crap.

okay, im done! ill stop sending emails, and i havent signed in since the day you told me not to, so its almost been a month, or will be on the 22nd, or something like that

Just a word of advise if I may; do not send any emails to Facebook about this nor try to log in with that account at all ; someone who came through this section waited for( if memory serves) about three months then suddenly got an email from Facebook and got back in

im still not quite sure what to do, i dont want to sign into my account yet and try until i know for sure ill get unbanned, incase i interrupt the "resting time" of the account.
i responded to this email and said that my issue wasnt resolved and still need help, so hopefully they get back to me soon. im not gonna get impatient because i have a feeling this might take a while but i have a good feeling i might get my account back!

and thanks for your help! i have a feeling if i woulda kept on with those emails and signing in, the respond time may have been longer. but its been 2 months, and a little over 1 month since i signed onto that account. and i dont think i will sign in anytime soon until i get another email from facebook. so hopefully they unban me soon
