Chat problems

Hi everybody, I'm new and I hope I'm doing everything right. I have a problem with the chat of Facebook. Everytime I click on the name of one of my friends who appears online, in order to send a chat message, it automatically appears to be disconnected. In this way I'm not able to chat but I am connected as my spot is green. Somebody can help me?

What browser and OS (operative system) do you use? Have you tried a different browser/cleaning your browser's cookies and cache?

Hi! TXS for your quick reply. I use Windoxs XP, but this is not the problem because with my son's account, the chat is working, only with my profile I have this problem...mystery...

Do you 2 use the same browser? How long has this been happening?

it's a few monts and yes I have always used google chrome.

Few months? Smells like an account issue... I'm afraid only Facebook can solve this (and there's no pro temp solution).

Have you submitted a report as per the link above? Due to Facebook's large database it will likely take them a while to reach your query.
